The event happened again, and the 2021 Land West Expo in Flagstaff, Arizona was as busy as ever. We traversed the entire large-scale exhibition to find the best new products to put on the market.
Below are the first 15 new equipment we discovered at the 2021 Western Land Expo. The new equipment ranges from travel bags to tarps, campers and more. Check out the cool new stuff we found below.
STEP 22 continues to introduce unique high-quality travel products, focusing on land vehicle travel. Its latest bag is Chameleon, which is a hard-sided hanging bag that can be opened like a clamshell and has an impressive multifunctional storage space inside.
The brand designed it to be used mainly as a camp kitchen. But the use of chameleon is limitless, including Velcro Molle panels.
The STEP 22 Gear Chameleon retails for approximately US$100 and will be available at the end of the year.
Dometic’s personal camp heater is the best choice for a cold back when sitting around a campfire.

The iKamper Disco series is a brand new camp chef system. It must be a new direct competitor to Tembo Tusk Skottle, a staple food on land.
The advantage of the Disco series is its versatility. Not only is it a pan cookware, but you can also use it on the campfire and pots and pans.
As an outdoor photographer, I also like the tripod of this cooking system and a standard camera tripod stand. When packing land vehicles, we always appreciate multifunctional equipment.

The first active damping and body roll control suspension systems for Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit are now on the market.
The new KW suspension uses internal damping valves, which can be continuously adjusted based on input from seven sensors to control damping and body roll. The system can be adjusted to four different customizable modes through the dial controller installed in the cab.
The system has just landed in the United States and can now be purchased through RRE Global at a price of US$7,900.
Aluminess continues to innovate to provide high-quality durable goods for van life. The brand has added a new The Backpack gear rack system to its Base Unit rear door tube rack. The system allows various gears to be installed on the back door of Transit or Sprinter in many different ways, and the ProMaster option is coming soon.

The new Skinny Guy Campers slide-in truck camper is an impressive engineering feat. It is the height of the cab, and it only drops to about half of the bottom of the truck. This allows for good aerodynamics, a lower center of gravity than the cab design, and extra storage space under the camper in the truck bed.
This is a fully functional camper van (stove, refrigerator, sink, shower, table, etc.), made of aluminum, with a foldable single-layer breathable tent. The rated weight of the cantilever bed is 600 lbs. It has been tested to reach 1,000 lbs. Skinny Guy Camper's full-select full-size truck version weighs 1,030 pounds.
Skinny Guy Campers has a variety of sizes to choose from to suit various trucks. The shell price starts at approximately US$12,000, and the fully loaded device starts at approximately US$34,000.

For decades, the FrontRunner Wolfpack storage/storage box has been a must-have for land travelers. Although these boxes are great for organizing and securing your gear on the go, they are not waterproof or dustproof.

We have discussed the Redtail Overland rooftop camper before. But now the company has been in full production (currently 3 produced and 14 ordered), and we finally saw the finished product with our own eyes. This hard-edged pop-up roof tent is equipped with functions such as lighting, heat, and electricity.
This impressive overland shelter made of carbon and milled aluminum weighs 300 pounds for a large, fully loaded installation, and about 225 pounds for a small basic installation. Redtail Overland RTC is available in three sizes, with prices ranging from US$19,500 to US$34,000.
GooseGear is a leader in land vehicle storage expansion systems. Think about seat removal, drawers, sleeping platforms, etc. Although the brand has some new cool products suitable for various vehicles, the new Bronco tailgate table has caught our attention.
This new drop-down list is installed on the rear apron of the new Bronco. It provides a lot of usable space, which can be used to brew morning coffee, prepare meals, and even be used as a remote office desk. It is made of aluminum with a stainless steel countertop and a pull-out bamboo cutting board.

Snow Peak continues to bring practical camping products to the market with its iconic simple Japanese design. Its latest Takibi Hexa Tarp Medium caught our attention at Overland Expo. It comes with stakes and poles (usually not included in Snow Peak tarps), and has a fire-resistant lining.
