Fire crews have been working through the night 'in very challenging conditions' as the huge industrial blaze in Kidderminster continues to burn.

The inferno, which dominated the skyline around the town yesterday, started in a single-storey building in the Hoo Road Industrial Estate just before lunchtime and could be seen from several miles away.

Workers were evacuated by police officers as thick smoke bellowed into the sky while several roads were closed in the surrounding area.

You can read everything we know about the fire and the disruption it has caused here.

Several roads in the surrounding area of the fire have reopened but Silverwoods Way and Hoo Farm Industrial Estate remain closed.

Some of the main roads in Kidderminster have had to be closed because of the smoke.

This is either because of the amount of smoke billowing across the carriageway, or because fire crews need to use them to pump water from the canal to the blaze.

Here's the latest on the roads closures.

The fire is affecting all aspects of life in Kidderminsgter.

Kidderminster College has just posted this update:

Please be aware that we have closed our Vocational Skills Centre and our main campus on Market Street. This is due to a large industrial fire over at Hoo Farm Estate.

Any students unable to get home are being asked to come to the terrace cafe on the 1st floor at Market Street.

Please stay safe when travelling and avoid the area if possible.

This picture shows how much smoke there still is at the scene.

Our reporter Alexander Brock is at the scene and told us it's still a big incident.

There's still a heavy emergency service presence here at Hoo Farm industrial park.

Several police cars are blocking the roads leading to the scene and fire engines are tackling the blaze.

Three ambulances were seen leaving the scene earlier on.

This picture shows the extent of the blaze.

The huge plume of smoke can even be seen from the far side of Kidderminster.

The huge plumes of smoke can be seen more than six miles away.

The main A450 Worcester Road has a roadblock about 1.5 miles away from the industrial site, with police diverting the traffic and turning back motorists

Dark smoke can be seen one mile away from the blaze.

We've published a story based on what we know so far. You can read it here.
