A PETROL station is set to reopen next week following a motorhome fire which saw the vehicle become engulfed in flames on the site, causing significant damage to the forecourt.
On Saturday, July 30, firefighters raced to the Morrisons petrol station on Dorchester Road after receiving a call at 9.11am that a vehicle set on fire while at the pumps.
Morrisons have said that a team is on the site 'working around the clock' to repair the damage.

As a result of the blaze, significant damage was caused to the roof of the forecourt and to the petrol pumping equipment.
The front end of the motorhome was completely destroyed.
A spokesman for Morrisons said that they hope to have the site back up and running for their customers after the weekend.
They said: "Our team is working around the clock to open the forecourt for customers as soon as they can."
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and rescue Service said: "Due to the extent of the damage to the vehicle, it’s impossible to say with 100 per cent certainty what the cause was. However, the most likely cause is an electrical fault in the engine bay of the vehicle."
