NJ Home Depot shoplifter found guns, ammunition and drugs

Westampton-According to a post on the Facebook page of the Westampton Town Police Department, a man was found carrying a weapon and holding a weapon while brandishing a knife at a Home Depot employee when asked about a shoplifting incident. There are drugs.

The police said that Mark Payne, who was also wearing a bulletproof vest, ran out of the store, but the store’s damage prevention officers were able to point the arriving police towards the parking lot area where Payne was and arrested him.

According to the police, Payne was also found with a loaded Ithaca 12 short saw shotgun, ammunition, two pipes containing suspected methamphetamine, anti-theft tools, five pocket knives and three hypodermic syringes.

Payne was dealt with before appearing in court and was detained in Burlington County Jail.
