Very suitable for listening to blues...

British hi-fi brand Bowers & Wilkins released some of the best speakers in new colors. The 702 Signature and 705 Signature are now available in midnight blue metallic, with the shiny black, satin white and rose colors that are already on the market.

B&W has launched its iconic Nautilus speakers, also in midnight blue metallic.

Both the 702 Signature and 705 Signature speakers are part of the 700 Series Signature series. They have no less than seven layers of metallic paint and lacquer to create a "rich, shiny finish." The bright metal decorative ring surrounding the mid/bass and midrange cones and the bright silver tweeter grille accentuate this finish. There is also a signature tag on the back panel of both.

But they are not just bystanders. Both are designed with B&W's best audio technology during their life cycle.

They have the same tweeter top design, as well as upgraded crossover design, components and finishes.

705 Signature is a two-way vertical installation. Like the 700 series loudspeakers, the Signature model does not use a hollow zinc shell, but uses the same shape milled from a solid aluminum block to provide a stronger structure with less resonance.

Below it, installed in the housing, is a 25mm carbon dome tweeter, composed of two parts, making it light, strong and anti-distortion. There is also a 16.5 cm Continuum midrange driver, manufactured by B&W, and first appeared in its 800 series Diamond.

At the same time, the 702 Signature is a floor-standing speaker that combines the same tweeter top design with a 15 cm dedicated midrange driver and three Aerofoil contoured 16.5 mm bass cones. These new cones use a composite structure with inner and outer skins filled with polystyrene.

Both have specially processed and upgraded bypass capacitors, larger heat sinks, and in the case of the 702, the bass part of the crossover has an upgraded low-frequency capacitor.

The 702 Signature is priced at 5,500 pounds/6,000 euros (approximately 7,400 U.S. dollars, 10,000 Australian dollars), and the 705 Signature is priced at 3,000 pounds/3400 euros (approximately 4,000 U.S. dollars, 5500 Australian dollars). Both are available in this month's new finishes.
